Farm Life: Baby Calf is Born!

Sharing is caring!

It’s a BOY! Gotta love farm life! Fall is in the air. The skies are clear blue with hardly any clouds. The animals on the farm are getting a break from the summer heat, so they’re all in a good mood. And now we have a new baby on the farm. Life is good.

Farm Life

Life is so beautiful and precious. On a farm, there’s never a shortage of awe-inspiring moments…or new life.

It’s a slower pace out here in the middle of nowhere…exactly the way I like it. And even though there are always chores to be done, there is also plenty of time to stop and smell the roses (literally) and to just enjoy being in the present moment.

We have been waiting patiently for the arrival of Belle’s baby and she had an amazing delivery. Just like last year, her baby was born during the night.

She’s an excellent mother so when we discovered her baby in the morning, he had already been cleaned and had been nursing.

Look at how sweet he is standing behind his Mama. She won’t leave him even when he grows as big as she is.

This fills my Mama-heart up so much that love overflows. Belle and her new baby boy are doing great.

The kids came with me to the pasture to adore the new arrival and the little girls were quick to name him Brownie.

Welcome to the world Brownie. We are so happy to finally meet you!

Yes, his fur is just as soft as it looks. He has a sweet temperament and is starting to explore his new world.
