Hi! I’m Rebekah, creator of the Rivers Family Farm blog.
I’m a city girl turned country mama that enjoys cooking food from scratch, picking ripe produce from the garden, preserving the bounty, and playing with my kids and farm animals. My husband and I did not grow up on a farm, so we’re learning as we go and sharing what we learn here at Rivers Family Farm so that you can avoid some of the many mistakes we have made.
We have a heart to teach and help people that are pursuing their dreams of growing more of the food that they eat. We all need to eat to live. The more skills you have to grow the food you and your family eats, the less reliant you’ll be on the grocery store, other producers, the economy, or your paycheck.
